Dr. Lauryn Przeslawski, DO
Dr. Przeslawski grew up in southeast Michigan, in the city of Troy. She graduated from Lyman Briggs College of Science at Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. She earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. During medical school, she was one of the first members of the Leadership Academy of Compassionate Care.
She completed her residency training at Metro Health University of Michigan Health Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. During her residency, she was the Chief Resident for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, as well as an avid member of Perinatal Safety and the Surgical Site Infection Prevention Committee. She also served as the Resident Representative for ACOOG Continuing Medical Education and Ongoing Postgraduate Education Committees. She was additionally the ACOOG Postgraduate Thesis Winner in 2019 for her research on Vaginal Preparation Antiseptics for Cesarean Sections.
She started her medical career as an OB/GYN with McLaren Medical Group and as a hospital staff physician at McLaren Flint from 2019-2020. Dr. Przeslawski has a special interest in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, family planning, preconception counseling, infertility, pelvic pain, menopause, and well-woman care.
Dr. Przeslawski is a former competitive gymnast and collegiate athlete. During her undergraduate years, she was on the MSU Varsity Co-Ed Cheerleading Team. Her husband is a graduate of U of M Flint, and is currently a CRNA/Nurse Anesthetist at Ascensio Providence Rochester Hospital. They enjoy staying physically active, traveling and spending time with family, friends, and their two new Pomeranian puppies.
