Ariel Gruda, DO
Dr. Gruda grew up in Harrison Township, Michigan. She graduated from The University of Detroit Mercy with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry. She earned her medical degree at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) in Spartanburg, South Carolina. During her time at VCOM she was a part of the Chair of Events for the Student Osteopathic Medical Association where she organized and planned several events, including the start of an annual leadership symposium.
She completed her residency at Garden City Hospital, through the Michigan State University Statewide Campus System. During her residency, she published a case report called “Revisiting Meig’s Syndrome” in 2021. She was also involved at MSU as a clinical faculty member and volunteered at MSUCOM events. She also had a baby during her residency, which has made her believe she can relate even more to her OB/GYN patients.
Being a mother has brought special interest to Dr. Gruda’s OB/GYN career. Her special interests include breast feeding, minimally invasive surgery such as laparoscopic and robotic assisted surgeries. She enjoys being able to take care of women of all ages and all stages of life!
Dr. Gruda played NCAA Division 1 Soccer at UDM while doing her undergrad. Dr. Gruda has been married to her high school sweetheart since 2019. She also has a sweet Bernedoodle named Kobe, who is a big brother to her 1.5 year old daughter. Dr. Gruda has an older sister and a younger brother and
enjoys spending time with her family, being outside, visiting local parks, biking, swimming, and hiking in her free time.
